**Front-wheel drive is standard** on all 2026 Chevrolet Equinox trims, and **all-wheel drive is available as an upgrade** across the lineup. Every trim also features a **Drive Mode Selector** that includes an AWD mode, letting you optimize traction for snow, ice, and challenging conditions.

When properly equipped, the 2026 Equinox can **tow up to 1,500 pounds**, making it practical for hauling small trailers, cargo carriers, or recreational gear.

With up to **63.5 cubic feet of cargo space** (rear seats folded), the Equinox combines decent towing capability with impressive interior flexibility for active lifestyles.
