The 2026 Chevrolet Colorado is powered by a standard 2.7L TurboMax engine that delivers an impressive 310 horsepower and a class-leading 430 lb-ft of torque. This powertrain enables the Colorado to tow up to 7,700 lbs with ease-perfect for job tasks, equipment, or recreational trailers. The truck pairs this engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission and five selectable drive modes (including Off-Road, Terrain, and exclusive Baja mode on ZR2) so you can tailor performance for optimal traction and control. Additional features like Tow/Haul mode optimize power when handling heavy loads. Ready to experience this performance yourself? Schedule a test drive at Markquart Motors in Chippewa Falls, WI, or call (715) 833-0444.
