The 2025 GMC Sierra HD gives you two powerful options:

**Standard 6.6L V8 Gas** - delivers 401 horsepower and 464 lb-ft of torque, paired with a heavy-duty 10-speed automatic transmission. It's built for durability and comes on every trim.

**Available 6.6L Duramax Turbo-Diesel V8** - pumps out 470 horsepower and an impressive 975 lb-ft of torque. This is the standard engine on the top-tier Denali Ultimate trim and available on other trims for maximum hauling and towing power.

Both engines are engineered for serious workloads and rugged terrain. The Duramax's extra torque is ideal if you regularly pull heavy trailers or haul demanding loads.
