The 2024 GMC Sierra 3500 HD offers two powerful engine choices, both paired with a responsive 10-speed automatic transmission:

**Standard Gas Engine:** 6.6L V-8 producing 401 horsepower and 464 lb-ft of torque.

**Available Duramax Diesel:** 6.6L turbo-diesel V-8 delivering 470 horsepower and 975 lb-ft of torque. This diesel option is ideal if you regularly tow heavy loads.

Both engines can be configured with rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. The 3500 HD models let you choose between standard single-rear-wheel or dual-rear-wheel (dually) axles for even greater capability.
