The 2024 Sierra 3500 HD offers two engine choices.

**Standard Gas Engine:** A 6.6L V8 producing 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

**Available Duramax Diesel:** A 6.6L turbocharged V8 V8 engine generating 470 horsepower and 975 pound-feet of torque, coupled with an Allison-certified 10-speed automatic.

Both engines are refined and responsive. The diesel is particularly ideal if you regularly tow heavy loads, delivering maximum power and torque. You can choose rear-wheel or four-wheel drive with either engine, and the 3500 HD lets you pick a single or dual-rear-wheel axle.
