The 2024 GMC Sierra 3500 HD offers two powerful engine options.

The standard engine is a 6.6L V-8 gas engine delivering 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

For maximum capability, upgrade to the 6.6L Duramax turbo-diesel V-8 engine, which produces 470 horsepower and 975 pound-feet of torque. The diesel engine also features an Allison-certified 10-speed automatic transmission. Both engines are refined and responsive, making the Sierra HD more agile than other heavy-duty trucks.
