The 2026 GMC Sierra 1500 offers four powertrain choices, each engineered for confidence and capability.

**TurboMax Engine (standard):** 310 hp, 430 lb-ft torque, eight-speed automatic. Best-in-class standard torque for confident everyday driving.

**5.3L V8 (available):** Pairs with a ten-speed automatic for strong acceleration and refined cruising.

**6.2L V8 (available):** Enables max towing up to 13,100 pounds with the ten-speed automatic.

**Duramax 3.0L Turbo Diesel (available):** 305 hp, 495 lb-ft torque. Maximum pulling power and efficiency with available max diesel towing up to 13,300 pounds.
