The 2024 GMC Sierra 3500 HD offers two excellent engine choices. The standard option is a refined 6.6L V-8 gas engine producing 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. This engine is available with rear-wheel or four-wheel drive.

For maximum power, upgrade to the available 6.6L Duramax turbo-diesel V-8, which generates 470 horsepower and 975 lb-ft of torque. The diesel pairs with an Allison-certified 10-speed automatic and is ideal if you regularly tow heavy loads. Both engines deliver a responsive, refined driving experience.

The Sierra 3500 HD also lets you choose between a single rear axle or dual rear-wheel axle (dually) configuration. Call Markquart Motors at (715) 833-0444 to discuss which powertrain best fits your towing and hauling needs, or browse our new Sierra inventory online.
